The head cabinet had stuck drawers that needed to be eased and refinished. There is much water stain on the mohagony.

Lots of water damage in this little isolated area in the head.

View from the head.

The head, more specifically "The Pot"

The refinished drawers. They still get another four coats of high gloss polyurethane before installation.

Reinstalled cab and remove and clean vinyl trim. This had to be cleaned with acetone and upholstery cleaner. I needed to inspect the deck to hull joint at this point to check for any damage. Luckily there was no damage, one less thing to fix. Basically finished with five coats of polyurethane, the cabinet is ready to put back together. Although I think I will replace the screws through the bulkhead since they are a little too short for securing the cabinet. Notice the backside of the Starboard nav light, this has got to be removed and the hole filled and redrilled. This is a leak area as well as the portlight.

Nearly finished cabinet and trim install.

Now on to bigger projects. the head was removed during haulout in 10/08. The head wasn't pumping and I didn't want to mess with it yet. No I get the mess with it.
