This Silverline Dolphin 17 Cabin sailboat has a fiberglass hull and an LOA of 16.75 feet (length over all). The boat has a 60 inch beam. This sailboat is set up to sail as a Sloop. The craft has 138 square feet of sail area. Displacement for the boat is 725 lbs. The draft of this sailboat is approximately 4'3". (For those brand new to sailing, draft is important to remember since you can run aground if you venture into waters which are too shallow.)

1975 17' Silverline Dolphin "Fruitcake"

Sam is putting the "fruit" back in Fruitcake. We have calculated that the "high luster"
of the paint on the transom will help repel following seas.

Skipper Sue scrubbing down the deck. The finish on Fruitcake will never restore to its'
original luster.

With the exception of the rudder and tiller, this is the only brightwork on the boat.
The interior of the cuddy is genuine immitation polyester fuzz (both charming and seductive).

Skipper Sue performing hull and trailer inspection. The trailer is in sad shape with most metal parts
are looking like tin-foil and rust. The axle broke, wheel bearings seizing and leaf spring
disconnecting from frame. Other than that, the trailer is fine.
The finished product along with my Captain.
