Boat Shopping 2009

I am creating a list of boats considered for purchase, not all of them, just one of them. I like the idea of 10' + beam and over 6' of headroom, roomy, great reviews by owners. After taking the 5-day trip on the C25, I really could stand some more room in the cockpit, more headroom inside (I know for a fact that skipper Sue would like more headroom), larger galley, head with shower, larger v-berth, no need to take down the dinette to sleep, more working room on deck, roller furling just to name a few things.

As a beginner cruiser, the C25 has been a great boat to learn on. She has been very forgiving, exciting and a great learning tool but I am looking for more room, my number one criteria. Now I know that you must be saying, "why didn't get one of those to begin with?" Well, I don't know exactly but moorage cost, maintenance and trusting my ability to manuever were factors.

I know now that I can hit anything I aim at, can fix anything that is broken, insurance covers a lot of mistakes and I am always willing to learn new things, like how to fix stuff that needs fixing.
